1. Who We Are

Fix My Day ("we", "us", "our") is a productivity app built for people who break traditional productivity tools. Our goal is to help you plan honest, realistic days.

2. What Data We Collect

2.1 Account & Identity Data

When you sign in with Google, we receive your email address, display name, and profile photo URL. We use this only to create and identify your account. We do not access Gmail, Drive, contacts, or any other Google service beyond what you explicitly authorise.

2.2 Productivity & Task Data

Data you enter directly:

• Tasks (title, description, due dates, priority, completion status)
• Scheduled time blocks and focus session durations
• Notes and brain-dump memories
• Recurring task templates

2.3 Mood & Wellbeing Data

Data you log voluntarily — mood ratings, energy and stress levels, sleep hours, burnout scores (computed locally from your patterns).

2.4 Voice Recordings

When you use Voice Capture, audio is recorded locally then sent over HTTPS to Google Gemini API for transcription. We do not store the raw audio after transcription.

2.5 AI Chat Messages

Messages sent to the AI companion go to Google Gemini API. Conversation history is stored in our database so you can scroll back.

2.6 Calendar Data (Optional)

If you enable Google Calendar sync, we read your events (read-only) to schedule around your meetings. We never write to, modify, or delete your Google Calendar events.

2.7 Device & Technical Data

Device type and OS version (crash reporting), app version, notification delivery status. We do not collect advertising IDs or device fingerprints.

3. How We Use Your Data

We do not use your data for advertising, behavioural profiling, or any purpose beyond operating the app.

4. Third Parties We Share Data With

We do not use advertising networks, analytics SDKs, or data brokers.

5. Data Storage & Security

• All data transmitted over HTTPS (TLS).
• Stored in Supabase (AWS-hosted), encrypted at rest.
• Row-Level Security (RLS) — each user only ever sees their own data.
• Raw audio files deleted after transcription.
• Chat history stored for review; delete via Settings → Delete All Data.

6. Your Rights & Choices

6.1 Access & Export

Export tasks, memories, and mood entries any time via Settings → Export My Data.

6.2 Delete Your Data

• Individual items: swipe to delete tasks, tap to remove memories.
• All data: Settings → Privacy & Data → Delete All Data.
• Account: Settings → Account → Delete Account. Permanent, cannot be undone.

6.3 Private AI Mode

Enable Settings → Privacy → Private AI Mode to disable all Gemini API calls. Planning runs on-device using deterministic fallbacks. This does not affect Supabase data sync.

6.4 Opt out of Calendar Sync

Disable Settings → Calendar → Google Calendar at any time. Imported events are immediately removed from your schedule.

6.5 Data Retention

Data retained while your account is active. Account deletion removes all data within 30 days (most immediately).

7. Children's Privacy

Fix My Day is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. Contact simplerdays4@gmail.com if you believe a child has provided data.

8. AI-Generated Content

Fix My Day uses Google Gemini to generate daily briefings, Auto-Plan schedules, weekly review summaries, chat responses, and voice transcriptions.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes are notified via an in-app notice. The "Last updated" date reflects the most recent revision.
